Ten Hag expects revenge on Aston Villa

Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hag predicted his team's success in revenge when they face Aston Villa in the English League Cup.

And the British news agency reported that the next confrontation between the two teams at Old Trafford will witness the second meeting between them in 5 days, as United seeks to perform a different performance from what was the case in Birmingham last Sunday.

The loss of Man United halted the unbeaten streak that reached 9 matches, while Tin Hag wants his players to shine in his last home match before the World Cup break.

"We had a good run of matches and played a lot of matches after that," said Ten Hag. "I know the players are not robots but we were not happy with the performance at Villa Park last Sunday."

"In our analysis of the match, we were clear about that, which is that the performance is not acceptable."

He concluded, "We have to develop in every game, this is the culture that we must have in this team."
